Hello, friends and fellow music lovers!
I hope you are doing alright and staying healthy. It’s finally starting to warm up here, and it feels like foreshadowing for better days ahead!
I am sending a little love blast your way and a little news of a few fun things coming up.
Some good news…I’ve been so blown way by your support on Patreon! It truly is the best way to keep up with what I’m creating. I send out a new unreleased song and a new poem each month, and we do Zoom concerts and gatherings, too! It’s like a backstage pass to my work. 🙂 You can join for just $1 a month, or for as much as you like! This is the future for independent artists. Special thanks to all 78 of you who have joined so far. I hope you’ll join me!
Fun things coming up soon…
Sat, May 30 – Youtube Watch Party – A BW and Edie Carey Concert at Swallow Hill Music in Denver! We will premiere the video of our concert at that beautiful listening room. It was one of those magical nigths that had us floating in the clouds for days. The amazing John Standish joined us on piano and we got do so some harmonies…so dreamy! If you have never heard Edie sing, you are in for a treat and you will wonder what took you so long! You don’t have to have a Youtube account to watch, but you do if you’d like to chat with us in the comments. It is free to set up a Youtube account. Hope you will join us to relive it! At 6 pm Pacific Time.

(hopefully the rum will make it into the cake, ha!) This online concert is by sliding scale donation. Tickets are $12+ I hope you’ll join us! 6 pm Pacific Time. More details about how to watch will be listed here.Â
And more good news…the Sisters Folk Festival Bandwagon is still going strong… look, we made the paper!Â

And here’s local legend Dennis McGregor and Benji Nagel spreading some home grown tunes right in front of Benji & Caris’s farmstand!

Here’s a little song that I recorded back in 2014 for “Sometimes Love” that has been tapping me on the shoulder lately. I looked outside my window and the light was so beautiful. The golden hour. I rushed outside and made this video.

This was my set up for the FB Livestream concert I did on my almost birthday! You can watch it here.

This girl is always ready for adventure!

I hope you are getting outside and taking good care and doing things that lift your spirits. I know it sounds simple, but singing always makes me feel better, so I’ll just keep doing that no matter what. Please know that you are on my mind and in my walking prayers. As always, I love hearing from you, so holler at me if you feel moved to do so.  Thank you for walking alongside me on my musical journey! With much love and gratitude from your fan,
