Hey Midwest, here I come…

This week is gonna rock. There, I said it. And here’s why… I am fortunate enough to return to three fabulous midwest venues, and play one new one. All this comes about with the help of many dedicated folks who help to make the music happen. YAY!!!

Wed, Aug 15 – The Yardarm Bar & Grill – Racine, WI. 920 Erie St. 262-633-8270. BW returns to the Yardarm! 7 pm. What is a Yardarm? I don’t know but I like this place. Several years ago at Cafe Carpe I met a nice lady who said… I own a place in Racine and we’d LOOOOVE for you play some music for us! Now I’ve played at the Yardarm several times and it’s always fun. Plus their fries are ridiculous.

Thurs, Aug 16 – Bistro 108 – Loves Park, IL. 6164 E Riverside Blvd. (815) 977-5611. BISTRO 108 is conveniently located in Loves Park, Illinois on E. Riverside Blvd. Northeast corner of Mulford & Riverside – Directly across from Village Green. This fabulous restaurant featuring locally-sourced ingredients presents music on occasional nights! 8 pm. With the generous help of Ron Holm in Rockford, IL, I get to play a new place called Bistro 108. From the looks of their website, my taste buds are gonna be doing their happy dance!!

Fri, Aug 17 – Trinity House Theatre – Livonia, MI. 38840 West Six Mile Rd. 734-464-6302. A beautiful listening room. Their mission states…”Trinity House Theatre exists to enrich and enliven the communities of Southeastern Michigan through brave, truthful and necessary works of art.” Amen to that! $15/$12 for subscribers. 8 pm. A couple of years ago I got to do an opening set at this beautiful theater in Detroit area called Trinity House. Now I am so thrilled that I get to go back and play my own show!!
