Hello friends and fellow music lovers!

I had such a BLAST this past month that it has flown by, and lo and behold things are starting to bloom around here.  Love it!  There is much to tell you so I’ll get right to it!

1. Gratitude

2. The News

3. Call to Action

4. April Shows in WA, OR, OH, MI, LA, AL, and GA…whew!

5. The Future

1.  GRATITUDE.  Where do I begin?  Thank you to the Dalziel family, the Wolf family, Becky & Tom, Dave and all at Fogartyville, Alice and everyone at ACMA, the Oxford-Pickerals, the Stoddard family and all the good folks of Fergus, The Spot, Minnesota State Community and Technical College, New York Mills Cultural Center, JoDan and Niijii Radio, the Reihle Family, Mark Samuelson, Spider and Studio 222, Evansville Arts Center, Deb & Kit, Sarina O, The Schippers, and Glenn Elvig and Patty. And thank you to Renee Gebhardt for always working with a smile.  🙂 My shows with Dave Stoddard were really special, highly energized and musically triumphant and fun. I loved sharing the stage with Dave and hope we can do more of that in the future!  Plus he’s a good snow driver.  So special thanks to Dave for your energy in putting together our shows, and for all the laughs and wonderful musical moments.  Can’t wait for more!

2. THE NEWS.  Well, I’m excited to be continuing my work with Tyler Fortier and Peter Perdichizzi here in Eugene at Tyler’s studio.  I am finalizing the plan for lauching my Song-Of-The-Month Club with Jodi Hersh the web/graphic design goddess helping me get it set up on my website.  Expect to see a special announcement email soon!  I would like to have the first song available in April!

I also want to tell you about an awesome project that I was invited to be a part of.  It is called “The Color of Music” – a compilation put together by Eugene Daily News featuring Eugene musicians to benefit Kindtree – Autism Rocks – a local non-profit that specializes in helping children with autism and families with autistic children.  This is a fabulous collection of music by fabulous artists!! You can check it outhere…and you can support this wonderful group AND get some cool tunes at the same time.  Win!

I am so excited for shows coming up!  I’m playing a venue that’s new to me this weekend in Long Beach, WA, just above Astoria. Turns out it’s a dog-friendly place so my side-kick Marble will be joining me! Then on Monday I’m psyched to return to the Songwriters Circle in Portland at O’Connor’s Vault with Cal Scott & Richard Moore. These guys are AMAZING and we had such a blast last time! Then I get to take a little midwest trip and play two new series and two new venues…and warm up for the great John Gorka and Ellis Paul…YAY!! Then it’s a southeast run where springtime will hopefully be in full bloom! I am thrilled thatmy friend Tamera G is willing to host a house concert for me in New Orleans! And I have wanted to play the Sundilla series in AL for a long time.  I’m psyched to play a series new to me in Gainesville, GA and a birthday party for my cousin Dell.  🙂 And finally, while I’m in the southeast I’ll make another trip to Nashville. Every time I go, I meet committed writers and business people who are out there making things happen…it’s exciting. I am thrilled to be doing some more co-writing with new folks and hopefully catching up with old friends, too.  Show details are below…

3.  CALL TO ACTION.  Wanna host a house concert?  It’s fun, your friends will love it, and my toes will dance.  We can even talk about backyard concerts…weather permitting.  I’m currently looking for June shows…possibly in OR, WA, CA, ID, UT… basically anywhere I can drive to.  I love summertime in the northwest so I’d like to see some of it this year!

5. THE FUTURE

I am so excited about the new songs we’re working on and can’t wait to share them with you. There are some fun things cooking for this summer and I’m thrilled that May will bring me back to Olympia, up to Allyn, WA and back to the Juan de Fuca Festival of the Arts in Port Angeles.

May is also our family birthday month – Marty and I have the same birthday – and Marble is the day before ours. I am planning to throw Marble a big party for his 14th birthday…why not go big?? 🙂

As always, I am so grateful for you and your support, applause, hugs, and presence in my life. I hope to see you out there on the road and please spread the word to your friends. With much gratitude from your fan,
