Dear Florida, I can’t wait to see you (a.k.a. the Vitamin D Tour)!
I’m super psyched about some FL shows coming up…right about the time when winter in Oregon starts getting to me…so cold and damp and grey. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not compaining! I love it here. But a girl’s gotta get some Vitamin D somehow. 🙂
These are really special concert series that I’m excited to be a part of. If you’re anywhere near, I hope you’ll join us. And if you have peeps in FL, send them our way! Here’s the scoop:
THURS FEB 28 – Wolf Howl Concerts – St Petersburg, FL. This is a wonderful house concert series, open to all. For reservations and directions, please email Ann at awolf@jmwolf.net. All ages welcome. $20 suggested donation.7:30 pm.
FRI, MAR 1 – 96.5 WSLR-FM, Sarasota’s Community Radio – Sarasota, FL. I’ll be playing a few tunes live and chatting with host Tom Darby Tom Darby (“Bartender Tommy D”) on his Friday Happy Hour show. 4 pm. Free — it’s radio!
FRI, MAR 1 – Fogartyville Community Media & Arts Center – Sarasota, FL. 941-587-6588. 525 Kumquat Ct. All ages welcome. $10 adv/$12 day of show. Just heard that Richard “Hombre” Price will be siting in on steel guitar for a few songs…woop woop!! 8 pm.

SUN, MAR 3 – Americana Community Music Association Concert Series – Ft Meyers, FL. 3334 Cleveland Ave. AMCA (Americana Community Music Association) is committed to supporting original independent music and musicians with programs that expand community appreciation and education while fostering the creativity and diversity that influence Americana and Roots music. All ages welcome. $15 suggested donation. 7 pm.
