Eugene peeps, I am super excited about my show coming up with the great Anne Weiss at Tsunami Books on April 11. Please help us spread the word! Anne is a very soulful artist, an educator, an activist, and an all-around bad-ass woman. I’m honored to share the stage with her at our favorite independent book store! Here is our poster.. feel free to share!

I’m also returning to the wonderful songwriter-in-the-round series with Cal Scott &Richard Moore at O’Connor’s Vault in Portland. These guys are AMAZING writers and players and improvisors…so I always know we’ll be stirring up a whole mess of fun! Here’s the scoop.

Speaking of Oregon, I am so honored to be a part of OPB’s Artbeat!! Check out this episode that includes Astoria painter Darren Orange, artist and curator Steve LaRiccia, the Venice exhibition at Portland Art Museum and little ol’ me!!

In late April/early May I’ll be taking this show on the road to Texas, a glorious place to be in the spring time. ๐Ÿ™‚ Can’t wait to see some bluebonnets, visit family, drink margaritas, and play in Corpus, Houston, Dallas, Ft Worth, and Richardson, woohoo!

My new CD is ever evolving into a reality and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Jess Terry and I are working on artwork, and my mastering date is set for April 8 with Thaddeus Moore at Liquid Mastering in Eugene. Also very exciting…Tyler Fortier and I are going to have a duel CD release celebration in Eugene, and it’s set for Sat, June 14 at Cozmic with the full band, so there’s no turning back! If all goes right, my new CD might be ready for my Texas trip…fingers crossed!

I am thrilled to tell you that I’ve been invitited to play at the Four Corners Folk Festival in Pagosa Springs, CO on labor day weekend this year. This has long been a very special part of the world for me, and I have wanted to be a part of this festival for a long time!! I am barely contain my excitement as I read that also playing will be Sam Bush and his band, Sarah Jaroz, Darrell Scott & Tim O’Brien, Darlingside, Elephant Revival, and the list goes on and on. WOOHOO!!

Speaking of festival awesomeness, the good folks at Sisters Folk Festival andAmericana Song Academy are gearing up for another epic year. I am so blessed to be a part of this festival and songwriting retreat, and every year brings new inspiration and a boatload of fun. I’ll be leading the Sunday morning Community Celebration again, which is one of my favorite days of the whole year. ๐Ÿ™‚ Check out Dennis McGregor’s insanely awesome poster for this year!
