BW signs deal with Winogradsky/Sobel to pitch her songs to TV & film!!
With the help of Tamera Bennett and my manager Steve Garvan, I have just signed a contract with a company called Winogradsky Sobel, an L.A.-based company who will be working on procuring placements for my songs in TV and film. This is the new frontier for indie artists…remember the old days when people learned about new music from the radio? Now shows like “Grey’s Anatomy” feature indie artists and have brought these artists a whole new audience! I remember back in 1998 when a show called “Party of Five” featured my song “Geometry” for about 30 seconds. It was such a thrill and I got to buy a new guitar (Larry, Sr.) with the licensing fee. I still see a few international royalties from around the world as the show is in syndication now. Fun stuff! My fingers and toes are crossed for these guys to kick ass on my behalf. And I am encouraged and humbled by the fact that people like Tamera, Steve G and Steve W believe in me and my music — enough so to take action in helping me shape my future. Can i get a WOOHOO!!?
